I remember in the 7D days people were comparing the Canon with Nikon in terms of low light and dynamic range and I think Nikon had the edge back then. I haven't paid attention for a while, and I am not sure which bodies are worth considering.

What I don't like with the 7D is the low light noise, and I also wish for a better dynamic range. I have the 7D with the 50mm 1.4 prime and the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM.
